Picked Up On This At The Patch Factory

(THE WHO, CURRENTLY ON TOUR, IS A client, so I wasn’t playing – it was work related) and it occurred to me that “we” may not have been fooled again, but an entirely different batch of fools has come along and stepped in the same pile of shit.

  1. Very nice. I’m always amazed when the obviously gigantic stadium rock song is rendered acoustically. Why didn’t I think of that??

In all fairness, Pete has the advantage here, since it’s likely that’s how he composed the song in the first place — sitting in a home studio with just himself, a reel-to-reel, and his favorite acoustic guitar. There’s an album out there (not sure how available it is) called Scoop, which, on vinyl, is a double album, of Townsend doing his own demos. A lot of tasty renderings of the same sort as this video.
