THE PRICE OF GAS is the bottom concern of the voters, and that makes it no big deal that, gas was $1.70 and gallon in 2008 and is crossing $4.00 today.

I have a different take.

Things are SO bad that, although people are royally pissed that gas prices have more-than doubled under the Obama regime, there are THAT MANY things that are WORSE.

I don’t call that good news for the O.

  1. I think you’re onto something there, Dolly. If, through criminal overspending, the predictable failures of hard-left implementation, general lawlessness and megalomania, your administration manufactures say, 8 crisis-level problems, that would naturally push high gas prices into the #9 slot. Though it’s nothing to brag about.

Also, let’s not forget about the usual media collusion at work here. Five or so years back when gas prices shot up–and Bush was still president–I distinctly recall a repetitive drumbeat from the major media, day in, day out, penny by penny. Followed by a deafening silence as the price per gallon dropped back down.

Now, of course, it’s almost the exact opposite. Some noise, though not much, from big media as the average price rises, and daily triumphal reports when it falls, even by a fraction of a cent.

Gotta love them scrupulously fair-minded, just-the-facts-ma’am, talking-truth-to-power, professional journalists, especially in their current role as court boot-lickers for the arrogant, imperious, not-so-good King Barack.
